A box made out of fabric?
I was a little skeptical and wasn’t sure how a box made from fabric would be sturdy enough to hold anything, let alone just stand up by itself. But, I’ve come this far and excited to try something new, so onward I sew with the Patchwork Please sew-along, one project a week with the group hosted by LR Stitched and A Quilters Table.
I pulled out the sturdiest interfacing I had, cut the box pieces according to the directions in the book, and grabbed a stack of fabric. The fabric is primarily a Michael Miller print called Belle Rose, along with a few scraps from my stash. I used a teal colored linen for the inside bottom. I was very happy that the directions on this project were very easy to follow! Poppyprint shares some great tips on making this project.
