They are everywhere!! It seems like everyone is doing it! Making a Scrappy Trip Around the World quilt using the tutorial at Quiltville. There is even a Flickr group here with almost 1000 members! Needless to say I needed to get on the bandwagon and make a Scrappy Trip Along so that I would also have one of these bright scrappy quilts posted on my blog. This morning I’ve completed all of my blocks and here are photos of my progress so far. That Vetdepot coffee cup looks great on these colorful blocks!
Fast Forward a couple of weeks to this bright finish! Decided to call this Scrappy Trip Around the World Quilt “Ooh That’s Bright” because that is what I thought of everytime I looked at it!

Love your version the the Scrappy Trip Along quilt. I agree, it is bright and cheerful and makes a statement. Great colours. I have my strips cut, just no time at present to sew them together!
